Some of the key challenges that our hospital partners face are long waiting times, lack of visibility into doctor availability, and not to mention, the many complexities around payments and more. There is a large number of people going to hospitals who don’t always get the best experience that hospitals want to provide. We think we can help improve this and change things for the better.

Qikwell, over the last 4 years, had built a fantastic product that delivers great consumer experience by providing smooth appointment booking, significantly reduced waiting time as well as contact-less payment at the hospital. Their key proprietary technologies and algorithms help synchronize patients, doctors and front office staff at the hospital to reduce the average wait time by over 3x, resulting in a much better consumer experience as well as better optimization of hospital operations.

I am thrilled to share with you today that we have decided to work together and bring this great technology to improve the booking experience on the entire Practo platform. At the same time, the hospitals and doctors on Qikwell will get access to Practo’s huge scale and global footprint. Together, we are the largest healthcare appointment destination in the world and we have aggressive plans to expand our coverage in India and in International markets over the next 12-18 months.

Qikwell today powers patient experience across some of the marquee hospitals including Manipal, Fortis, Cloudnine, Narayana Hrudalaya and many more. It also has over 6000 of the top doctors across India including the top pediatricians, gynecologists, neurologists and more. Qikwell will continue to be led by Krishna Prasad, co-Founder & CEO, Qikwell and Raghavendra Prasad, Co-Founder & CPO, Qikwell. I welcome them and the entire Qikwell team to the Practo family.
