Now you can find the right diagnostic lab on Practo by searching for the test you need, instead of searching for an establishment and then trying to figure out whether they do the test you want or not.
Our goal is to help you not just find the lab but also help you select the right one. So when you search for a test, you can filter results by location, home collection facility as well as whether or not the center will give you online access to your reports. This enables you to complete the entire test process – from finding the center, providing the sample through a home pick-up to getting the report online – right from your living room.
We have also physically verified each lab, added actual photos as well as the accreditation status so that selecting the most qualified lab becomes extremely easy. You can just call the lab right from within the Practo app and book your test and/or home sample pickup.
To bring you the best diagnostic labs, we have tied up with some of the largest chains including SRL Diagnostics, Suburban Diagnostics and Thyrocare amongst others, adding up to over 4,000 centers across 8 cities in India. Diagnostic lab & test search is available to consumers in Delhi, Mumbai and Bangalore starting today and will roll out to Chennai, Hyderabad, Pune, Nashik & Trivandrum over the next 5-7 days. We will of course expand this further to 35 cities in India and all our international markets in the next few months. We will also be augmenting the product so that your test results are stored and available right within the app itself, instead of you having to go online and downloading them separately.
Diagnostic search is the first expansion of our product beyond doctor search and over the next few weeks we will be announcing our products into other segments including wellness, fitness and preventive healthcare. Stay tuned!
